How is the price per kilo set?
The price is calculated per kilo, using a weight-tier system (from under 2 kg to over 23 kg), just like professional delivery services. We recommend a price for each tier based on your trip, but you remain free to adjust it.
Can I edit my ad after publishing it?
Yes, you can adjust your available kilos and prices from the "My trips" section of your account. If you run into a problem you cannot resolve yourself, contact our team.
What modes of transport are accepted on KakoExpress?
Only flying: KakoExpress works with travelers who carry packages using the available kilos in their luggage, not with personal-vehicle deliveries.
When will I receive my payment?
Once the delivery is confirmed, your payment is credited to your KakoExpress wallet after a 72-hour delay, giving the shipper time to report any issue. You can then request a withdrawal to your bank account via Stripe.
What should I do if I can no longer travel as planned?
Cancel your trip as early as possible so shippers have time to find another carrier. They are fully refunded to their wallet. This option is reserved for genuine emergencies: repeated cancellations may be reviewed by our team.
Can I refuse a package at handover?
Yes, and you should if the contents do not match what was declared, the weight exceeds what was stated, or the item seems prohibited or suspicious. This refusal carries no penalty for you: you are never required to carry a package that makes you uncomfortable, and the shipper is fully refunded.
